The Foundation for Humane Education is an independent and not-for-profit organization. It has been established by a group of people who are very committed to the ideas of freedom (2009). Values such as individual freedom, free market economy and peace are our cores values. In a world where these ideas are constantly being questioned and even put under threat, the Foundation sees it as its mission to provide a counterweight by advocating the ideas of freedom. Education plays a pivotal role in this. It is through education that people become familiar with interesting ideas and learn to put them into practice.

The members of the Foundation are convinced that by means of education it can contribute to the spread of the ideas and values of freedom. Therefore we target our activities to young people, policy makers, and the wider general public

Our slogan is “Educating Freedom’s Future”. It has a double meaning. On the one hand, we want to make students and young professionals familiar with liberal ideas because we believe in their potential to individually contribute to a freer world. On the other hand we think that it is important to maintain good contacts with policy makers. We believe that not only civil society but also legislators have to do their part to preserve the freedoms of people.
